Support for Young People

Useful information for Young Survivors

  • Confidentiality

Keeping your information safe is very important to us. We won't share your details with anyone outside of ABRC unless you agree, except for safety reasons. Your support worker will talk to you about our rules for keeping children and vulnerable adults safe at the start of your support. We need you to fill out a data protection form so we can keep your information safe. You will get a copy of this form when your support starts. If you have any questions, feel free to ask your support worker.

  • Feedback

We want to make sure we give you the best servic, so we will ask for your thoughts. This means you might eed to fill out surveys and questions that don't show your name during and after your support. Your opinions are important to us, and we want to listen.

  • Cancelling appointments

If you need to cancel a support session, that's fine. Just let your support worker know before the appointment. If your support worker needs to cancel, they will inform you as soon as they can.

If you feel this isn't the rigtime for you to get help from ABRC, that's perfectly okay. We are here for you whenever you're ready in the future.
