Helpful Techniques

There is no one right way to relax - it's a case of doing what works for you, so you might need to try different things until you find your favourite way of relaxing. For some people, this might be going for a walk or watching some episodes of your favourite TV series. For others, cooking or dancing might help relax them. But sometimes, we need something a bit different; maybe we need to focus on our breathing, or listen to someone talking us through how to relax and calm down.

We've collected some ideas for you here, but remember, you can always speak to your support worker about relaxation techniques in your next support session.
