If you're looking for support, you can call us on our helpline
0800 121 4685 or email us at
support@ab-rc.org.uk
We're not just here to support you through an immediate crisis - we deal with all kinds of sexual violence, whether recent or historic.
We have centres based in Dunoon, Oban, Rothesay, Helenburgh and Lochgilphead.
Our centres and support workers are spread across Argyll and Bute, meaning that we have various services in most areas, whether that be face to face support, phone support, email support or even support via video call.
We also support non-offending friends and family members of survivors, as we know that sexual trauma can impact those who are close to the survivor.
There is never any pressure from us to report to the police or not. We'll support you either way.
We accept referrals from GPs and other agencies, as well as
self-referrals, to our services.
Mon to Fri - 10am to 4pm
Sat to Sun - Closed
You can call our helpline on
0800 121 4685 during the above hours. You are welcome to call outside of these times - if you do, please leave a message with your name and contact details (and if appropriate, a safe time that we can call you back) and we'll get in touch as soon as possible.
You can also email
support@ab-rc.org.uk and we will reply via email as soon as we can.
We'll listen to you and we believe you.
We support survivors of recent rape, childhood sexual abuse, stalking, historic abuse, intimate partner violence, sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation (exchanging sex for money, shelter, food or transport). We offer support to survivors who are over the age of 12, regardless of their gender.
